About Me

Hi, I’m Danielle.

I’m Danielle Summerall, an educator, special education professional, and student advocate with more than 20 years of experience supporting children and families. Throughout my career, I have served in roles ranging from special education teacher and case manager to child protection and behavioral support, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges families can face when trying to ensure their children receive the support they deserve.

My educational background includes an Ed.S. in Special Education Leadership, an M.A. in Education, and a B.A. in Psychology. My professional experience includes special education program and curriculum development, staff training, IEP management, autism-focused education, and working collaboratively with families, educators, and support teams.

I created Advocate 4 Student Success because I believe parents should feel informed, prepared, and confident when advocating for their children. My goal is to help families better understand the special education process, navigate IEPs, ask the right questions, and become strong partners in their child’s education.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every student deserves to be understood, supported, included, and given the opportunity to succeed.

My goal is simple:

To help parents understand the system so they can confidently advocate for their child.
